What’s included in an appliance installation?

When we visit your home to perform an appliance installation, we first assess the existing electrical system and determine what changes need to be made, if any. Then, we install the hookup and put the new appliance in place. We also test the appliance’s basic functions to make sure it works correctly. Finally, we take all packaging materials with us and leave your home in the same condition in which we found it.

Be aware that complex installation services needed for built-in appliances—including wall ovens, over-the-range microwaves, and built-in dishwashers—may cost more than freestanding appliances. In addition, if the proper utilities, shutoffs, or venting sources are not available, a complete hookup will not be possible. Make sure these are in place before scheduling your appliance installation.

What if I need alterations to my utilities to install my appliance?

Our appliance installation services don’t include installing gas lines or making other alterations to your existing utilities. If these services are required to complete the new appliance installation, you will need to have them performed prior to scheduling your appointment with us.
